THE ARC OF SAN DIEGO’S EAST
COUNTY CHAPTER CELEBRATES 50 YEARS Community Members are encouraged to
attend this free event on Monday, March 2 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Tours of the center will be provided as well as a formal program, a resource
fair, music, and an art exhibit. The Arc
of San Diego is the largest, most comprehensive provider of services to people
with disabilities in San Diego County.
Arc was founded in 1951 by parents concerned about the lack of services
for children with disabilities and now operates throughout 22 locations
countywide. Arc directly
impacts the lives of more than 2,500 people with disabilities throughout San
