FOOD, FESTIVITIES, AND FUN THAT BENEFITS PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES


EL CAJON, CALIF.
–The Arc Angels LARC’s Ladies Auxiliary is holding their annual Dinner Dance on November 21, 2009 at the Elk’s Lodge #1812 at 1400 E. Washington Avenue in El Cajon.  Proceeds from the event will benefit adults with disabilities served by The Arc of San Diego’s East County Training Center and Arc Enterprises – John Towers.

Doors open at 5:00 p.m. and the event goes until 10:00 p.m.  Tickets to the event cost $15 per person.  Dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m.  Following dinner, Brown Sugar will provide music for attendees to dance the night away.. The event also features a raffle with dozens of great prizes.  Raffle tickets are $1 each and prizes include money trees, quality wines, tickets to various events such as vacation resorts, sporting events, and much more.

 

The Arc of San Diego, the largest, most comprehensive provider of services to people with disabilities in San Diego County, was founded in 1951 by parents concerned about the lack of services for their children. 

 

Arc provides over 1,000,000 service hours each year to program participants throughout the county.
